Minimal Tonal Art Music is our common energy. An eclectic alloy of live piano and synthesizer, merged in Minimal Meditative vibration of strings and rhythmic pulsation of electromagnetic waves. Composing “real time” – improvising is almost like an epiphany. It flows and fills the space around us. Sometimes we don’t even remember what happened around us when we perform improvised live, music flows without restrain. We never know what we‘ll get at the end, so join our journey, turn up the volume, close your eyes and let the music take over you.

Started career of pianist and composer only some years ago by exploring different directions in musical styles and mixing them together so that impossible became an integral, yet unique piece of music. As an extremely creative person , Katarina likes to ideate and later bring her own musical fantasies to life into passionate piano transformations. Moreover, she likes to explore the world around through ‘learning by doing’ motto, which became her inspiration for mixing musical genres and concepts. This ambivalent creativity gives her a chance to explore audience and herself while pushing the limits and conventions in music and in performance aesthetics.
Winfried Strauss

Having learned to play piano in his childhood, Winfried Strauss turned away from the piano to the electronic side of making music. After many years of being utterly abstinent from playing the black and white keys, he returned to the instrument of his childhood.
With Katarina Winfried Strauss is playing mostly his analog synthesizer, making preparations on the piano and muting the bass strings by hand while accompanying Katarina on the piano. His musical influences are reaching from Max Richter to Anton Webern and from the Einstürzenden Neubauten to hard techno music.
